Try the bleeding edge beta for proton expermental. It worked for me so far. Just search proton expermental within steam store go into it and click on the settings cog then properties, then Betas and select bleeding edge then when u go back it should be installing it then go back to rdr2, select proton expermental in the compatibility menu and you should be good to go for now anyways
